Established in 1857, this family business is a member of the Guild of Master Craftsmen, and has been serving the local community of Saffron Walden & District for nearly 150 years. We have also supplied our work as far afield as Kent and Scotland.

Modern & Traditional Methods

Whitehead & Day are able to provide traditional memorials, home signs and pet stones crafted and designed to meet your specific requirements. All of the lettering and designs on our memorials, house signs, plaques and pet stones are initially computer-generated and forwarded to our customers as a free scale layout - to be amended as required - thereafter to be deeply incised with 23 carat gold leaf, undercoat and enamel, or simply left deep-cut only.
